Medicine, science and halacha met in a holistic way in the discussions at the International Conference on Einstein Judaism and Contemporary medicine. The two hundred and fifty doctors and medical personnel debated, listened and were enlightened as the internationally acclaimed faculty discussed the hottest topics in Jewish Law and Contemporary Medicine. Moshe Akerman, MD of Crown Heights initiated this conference back in 5748 with the support and encouragement of the Rebbe. The conference is jointly sponsored by the NAJM organization, headed by Rabbi Dr. Akerman; the Chabad House of Midtown Manhattan, headed by the shliach Rabbi Yehoshua Metzger and is accredited for doctors and nurses through the State University of New York – Downstate Medical Center.
